President Pratibha Patil on Weekday conferred the Indira Statesman Laurels for Tranquility, Disarmament and Developing for 2009 on Bangladesh Quality Diplomatist Swayer Hasina at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in the presence of Superior Parson Manmohan Singh and Consolidated Progressive Alliance chairwoman Sonia Gandhi.
Ms. Hasina and Ms. Sonia Statesman went down faculty lane and recalled the connection between the two families since the 1970s.
